Welcome to the new website of Gilmore Community School’s Community Council (Gilmore Council, for short)!
During these crazy times of the Covid-19 pandemic, all of us are missing our regular in-school interactions with students, teachers, school staff and other parents. Our website is a work in progress but the Council Executive wanted to start using it right away to provide another avenue to share information and to connect our parents, students, teachers and school staff.
Our Council works in partnership with the Community Office and closely with the entire school and community to help enrich every student’s educational experience. This happens through various committees, events and fundraising activities – all of which are supported and run by dedicated volunteers! All of you are welcome and encouraged to share your thoughts and ideas at our regular Council meetings, to volunteer for one our committees (and at events – when we can have them again), or just send us an email with questions at info@gilmorecouncil.ca. We are all part of this wonderful school community and the Council Executive wants to welcome all of you to our new site! We look forward to showing you more as we develop it further.
